AEOLIKI Ltd is participating actively in a number of European Programmes in the fields of environment and energy (5TH Framework Programme, 6TH Framework Programme, MEDA, INCO-MED) either as prime contractor, coordinator, co-proposer, or as subcontractor.

An indicative list of the Programmes AEOLIKI Ltd has participated during the last three years (2002 – 2005) is the following :

  • “Developing Strategies for Regulating and Managing Water Resources and Demand in Water Deficient regions (WaterStrategyMan)” Funded by the 5th Framework Programme. Duration 4 years (2002 – 2005).
  • “Institutional and Economic Instruments for Sustainable Water Management in the Mediterranean Region (INECO)” Funded by the 6th Framework Programme. Duration 3 years (2005 – 2008).
  • “Mitigation of Water Stress through New Approaches to Integrating Management, Technical, Economic and Institutional Instruments (AQUASTRESS)” Integrated Project. Funded by the 6th Framework Programme. Duration 4 years (2005 – 2009).
  • “Implementation of the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive”. Funded by MEDA Programme. Duration 3 years (2003 – 2005).
  • “Energie et environment urbain dans les pays Mediterranees”. Funded by the MEDA Programme. Duration 1 year (2002- 2003).
  • Towards a White Paper for RES and RUE : Strategy and action plan for the Republic of Cyprus. Funded by ALTERNER Programme. Duration 2 years (2002 – 2003).
  • ERA – Bioenergy Project. Funded by the 5th Framework programme. Duration 2 years (2002 – 2003).
  • Regional energy project under the framework of the MEDA regulation – Restructuring of energy companies. Funded by the MEDA Programme. Duration 2 years (2002 – 2003).
